One of the things I love most about Finn is the joy he brings to our lives. He is a smiling, happy, crazy, bundle of laughter most of the time. Always ready with a smile for even people he doesn't know. I learn so much from him every day. I hope that I can practice the kind of joy he has no matter what my circumstance.
Have you ever met someone who is so laid back and peaceful, and they rarely seemed fazed by difficult situations? I know a handful of these types, and it is so refreshing to be around them. Someday, after many more years of maturation, I'm sure, I want to be like that. I want my life to be one of laughter and love, and to throw out fear and anxiety, which don't really have a good impact on anyone's life.
What are three things you're joyful about? Today, mine are: the sun shining outside, the hug and kiss Finn gave me earlier, and the healthy winter my family has been fortunate to enjoy so far.
"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter."
- E.E. Cummings

Awww he's a muffin! This is a beautiful post. I think we all dream of a life full of laughter and love, but so easily get caught in daily frustrations or fear, anxiety...but one quote I love is by Emerson:
"Wherever you are, be all there."
I think that with this and faith, we get pretty close to it ;)
