an anniversary...

Five years ago today, a handsome boy from Ohio, who flew over 2000 miles to Oregon, proposed to his girl in a field over-looking the Portland airport at night.  She said yes, and they've been together ever since.  It was the perfect setting, the most romantic gesture, and a story to tell children and grandchildren for years to come.

Celebrating our engagement anniversary today.  Landon's taking off work early and we've cleared the entire afternoon to spend time together...our most favorite thing to do.

Benjamin and Casey

Over the weekend, Landon and I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Rife family back in Ohio where we took some engagement photos for Landon's older brother Benjamin, and his bride to be Casey.

Ben and Casey had some great ideas in mind for the shoot, and the whole family, (minus Dad who stayed behind to make supper and do dishes) tagged along for the afternoon.  We had so much fun!

The sweet couple got engaged over the summer on an epic road trip to various national parks out west.  We are so happy for them and we can't wait for their wedding next summer!  Don't worry, they're having the talented duo from Imagination Photography do their wedding photos...much more professional, don't you think? :)
