vacation!

We had the most amazing time in Jamaica last week!  What a relaxing and free week with Hannah and Jon.  The food was delicious, the weather was great, the ocean was warm, and we could rest and relax any time we wanted.  We also had time to take in Dunn's River Falls, horseback riding, snorkeling, catamaran cruise, karaoke, and some great entertainment.  It was such a great time.  I'll post more pictures soon!

well, we are off to jamaica!  hopefully this is what i'll be doing most afternoons like i did on our honeymoon...

i can't wait for quality time with my hubby and my sister and brother-in-law on the beach and exploring and relaxing.

stretch a little

doing all these illustrations for friends got me in the mood to do ours.
i may have stayed up too late working on this, but i just can't pull away from the computer sometimes.  i'll be posting some illustrations i have done for friends soon!

i had a free personal training session today at the gym we joined and i am sore!  i did not know my leg could be stretched as far as the trainer did...i tried to convince him i was done, but he said i could stretch more.  but it was fun to do a personal training session and find out some cool ways to work out.
hope you are all having a fun and amazing Thursday!  the day is beautiful here with the sun shining and it's not too cold.  i'm so happy today!  it i have time later, i might make some hot tea and read for awhile.

Christmastime is Here...

well it's Christmas time at our apartment!  we got our little tree last night....it was so tiny we just put it in our trunk to bring home.  we put on some good tunes and decorated, sang, danced, and drank peppermint hot chocolate.  even thought we won't be here for Christmas morning, we still wanted to decorate things up.  i think we might have a little Christmas dinner by ourselves sometime before we go home for the holidays.

we have so much to be thankful for this year.  Landon is working at a job he likes and it's close to our home so we can spend evenings together.  i have a good job as a nanny, and i just accepted a job with Imagination Photography doing editing work that will start in the spring. i am SO excited.
i am also, with Landon's help, getting prepped to launch my Etsy shop soon.
we have our little home, we are in love,  and God is good.  i can't wait to celebrate Christmas!

o christmas tree

i think Landon and i are going to get a christmas tree tonight!  this will actually be our first christmas tree as a married couple since we didn't get one last year.  i'm pretty excited!

it was a bit tough getting back into the work week yesterday after having time off, but it's good to be back on a schedule.  i'm trying to be productive today.

we are getting so excited for our jamaica trip...we're leaving this saturday and i cannot wait!  i want to pack now because somehow i feel like that would make saturday come more quickly.

i'm floating blissfully today because i might have a possible dream job opportunity to start next spring.  Landon and i are still thinking over it, but it just came out of the blue and seems like it would be perfect timing.  i'm constantly amazed at how God seems to give us what we need at the perfect moment...not to soon and not too late.

well it's cloudy outside, but our home is warm and we are content.  i'm so thankful for today and the chance to catch up on projects.

i love our families and how much we have been blessed.  it was a wonderful thanksgiving weekend.
